The fruits: dried cranberries, golden raisins, dark raisins and the unusual suspect – dried mandarins are soaked in spiced rum & pure honey for 14 months before they are sent to bake along with assorted nuts & spices.

You can savor it as is, warm it slightly, pair it with a glass of red wine, or enjoy it with a shot of espresso.
If you prefer it even boozier, simply feed the cake with 1 to 2 tablespoons of rum, whisky, or brandy until it’s just the way you like it!
